The Mutant Cards project is finally coming to an end and I hope you enjoyed the first 2 parts (1 & 2). Here is the last pair.
For this part, Roberto Sánchez finally has the chance to create his version of Iris Van Herpen mutant. Svetlana Makarova, on the other hand, takes Gareth Pugh S/S 2015 as the inspiration and created her darkest character yet.
Gareth Pugh, Iris Van Herpen and Comme des Garçons are 3 of the most interesting collections in the S/S 2015 season. They remind people of magic, mutation, and super natural power. They don’t belong to this universe, but have decided to meet in this dimension to explore planet Earth.
For this Draw A Dot. WITH series, I invited Roberto Sánchez and Svetlana Makarova to create their versions of these mutants in game card form. For the first pair, we have Roberto‘s version of Comme des Garçons mutant and Svetlana‘s version of Iris Van Herpen mutant.
It’s always exciting when illustrators decided to create an art piece based on Iris Van Herpen‘s Haute Couture collections, because her garments are always unique and futuristic. Here is an illustration by Renz Reyes .

Last week, I showed you the first part of Roberto Sánchez‘s Haute Couture series and today, it is time to show you the rest of the illustrations.
Iris van Herpen‘s “Voltage” is definitely one of my favourite Haute Couture collections this season and today, one of my favourite fashion illustrators has created a piece based on it.
