I always feel that one of the “hidden” images of Alexander McQueen collections is angel. This angle may not be the in your face type character, but her spirit is always presented in the Lee Alexander McQueen era. Today, I came across this image and I couldn’t help but to fall in love with it immediately.

This illustration is created by Gorak and the look is from the F/W 1998 collection. This composition is actually a reference from the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty book and the artist has added a pair of red wings to make the character look like an angel (possibly rising from the death). It is an amazing painting and I think it captures the fashion house’s dark vibe very well.
