Sometime ago, I showed you the Christian Dior illustrations by Decue Wu and they reminded me of Picasso works. Today I want to show you 2 YSL illustrations by Decue that are closely related to arts.
Mondrian Day Dress (F/W 1965)
If you like the works by Piet Mondrian and Pablo Picasso, then you should be familiar with 2 two dresses by YSL. I am in love with these 2 illustrations because I feel like these are the artworks you would see in the 60s and they carry a very strong artistic vibe. If Picasso were alive, I am certain he would want to meet Decue and may even work on a collaboration.
What do you think?
