Illustration.Files: Karl Lagerfeld & Vivienne Westwood Portraits by Mitja Bokun

You probably have seen Mitja Bokun’s Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2013 illustration few days ago on this site and I hope you have used your imagination to complete the picture. Now it’s time for me to show you 2 of my favourite designer’s portraits from him.

I am in love with Mitja‘s Karl Lagerfeld portrait because he once again leaves out some white space for us to use our imagination to complete the picture. I also feel like that “V” white space is where we can see the real side of Karl.

On the other hand, The Vivienne Westwood portrait he illustrated is more vibrant and direct. The red/ginger hair is very outstanding here and it brings out the playful character of the designer.

So which illustration style do you like more from Mitja?
